  • Tutoring for all academic subjects for students in Pre-K through 12th grade.

  • Sessions are typically held in clients’ homes in a quiet, distraction-free environment to ensure optimal focus and productivity. Select tutors may also offer sessions at local libraries when preferred.

  • Our tutors are special education specialists, reading specialists, math specialists, and classroom teachers.

    All of our tutors are required to hold valid New York State teaching certifications, have at least five years of classroom teaching experience, possess a Master’s degree, and successfully complete a comprehensive background check.

  • Some of our tutors have training in systematic phonics including Orton Gillingham and Wilson methods, ideal for supporting students with Dyslexia. We would only place a student with dyslexia with a tutor that has the appropriate experience and training to support.

  • For all clients, Victoria sets up meetings with your child’s school or other relevent service providers to collect information needed and recommendations for tutoring. If more information is needed, Tutors will conduct initial assessments.

  • Yes, our approach with summer assignments is to ensure work is completed with understanding and care.

  • We offer individualized back to back sessions for siblings.

  • Many incredible learners navigate the complexities of ADHD. Our tutors have extensive experience with students with ADHD and implement strategies to support their focus and engagement in sessions.
